What MMI coaching should actually do
A good MMI response does not sound like a memorised ethics lecture. It sounds like a future doctor who can notice the real problem, balance competing priorities and communicate calmly under pressure.
Dan's sessions are built around repeated station practice, interruption, follow-up questions, role-play, debriefing and honest feedback on where your answer became generic or missed the human issue.

Common problems Dan fixes
Over-polished answers: the response sounds fluent but empty, with no genuine prioritisation.
Ethics without judgement: the answer names principles but does not make a decision.
Poor structure under pressure: the candidate knows the content but loses the thread after follow-ups.
Weak self-reflection: the motivation answer sounds like a CV, not a person.

What students say
Alethea — ANU, UQ, Griffith, UoW, Deakin & UND (all 6 offers): "I got into all 6 universities I applied to. Dan's MMI coaching was the difference-maker — he taught me how to think on my feet, not just recite memorised answers." StudentVIP Verified.
Ayden — University of Melbourne MD CSP, after 2 previous rejections: "I had sat through 2 interview cycles and failed both. In 2024 I trialled 9 tutors and landed on Daniel. I got a first-round CSP at Unimelb." StudentVIP Verified.
Gabe — University of Melbourne MD CSP: "After failing MMIs for 2 years, I got a first round CSP at Unimelb. Dan had the guts to bluntly roast my answers — which other tutors didn't do — but was also encouraging." StudentVIP Verified.
Ri — University of Wollongong MMI & CASPer: "After tackling CASPer and MMI with Dan's help, I got an offer to my top-choice medical school. Incredibly thorough — detailed feedback and notes after every session." StudentVIP Verified.

Frequently asked questions
Which medical schools do you cover?
All major Australian MD programs — University of Melbourne, Monash, ANU, UQ, USYD, Flinders, UWA, UNSW, Notre Dame, Griffith, Deakin, UoW and more. Dan tailors prep to your actual shortlist.
How many sessions will I need?
Most students complete 3–8 sessions for meaningful improvement. Dan gives an honest assessment in session one and builds a plan from there — no pressure to commit to more than you need.
Is this different from specialist training MMI coaching?
The station formats are the same. What changes is the expected level of response — senior clinicians assessing specialist applicants expect doctor-level thinking, not student-level. Dan calibrates the coaching accordingly.
