MMI lens
Griffith MMI talking points: primary care, teamwork and community impact.
Griffith describes medicine through community-focused care, primary care and rural or remote healthcare. For MMI, talk about the kind of doctor you become inside teams and communities, not only your entry score.
General practice and primary careGriffith says its MD has a strong focus on general practice, primary care and rural or remote healthcare.
Team-based learningThe pathway material highlights small groups, realistic clinical skills teaching, team-based learning and interprofessional collaboration.
First Peoples Health and early patient contactGriffith describes First Peoples Health modules and early patient contact through longitudinal GP and rural programs.
Practice-ready final yearsClinical immersion, community placements, capstones, leadership, research, communication and wellbeing all sit inside the final-year preparation frame.
Interview angle: For Griffith, connect your examples to primary-care judgement: continuity, prevention, teamwork, communication and respect for rural and First Peoples communities.

Completed PhDs receive an overall GPA of 7.0. Completed Masters by Research can receive GPA 7.0 for the research component duration, but the final effect depends on the structure and remaining study used in the calculation.
What Students Miss
Griffith does not describe a single hard GAMSAT cutoff beyond eligibility. The practical question is the total GPA/GAMSAT rank and whether rural priority access or a higher-degree GPA rule changes the read.
